Let me introduce myself

I have been an embedded software engineer for over sixteen years. I have the experience of leading and participating in several successful projects such as cellular phones, a DAB receiver, a digital satellite receiver, and cordless phones in the wireless field. I am also now working in the wired field like the USB (Universal Serial Bus) host controller driver. This USB-related job offered me good experience like critical problem-solving, debugging, and analytic skills by solving a variety of customers' problems related to the USB driver and protocol on the various embedded OS's environments like Linux, WinCE, VxWorks, and ITRON.

  I did my undergraduate degree in Electronics and have completed a master's course in Mobile Communications Engineering in Korea. So, I have in-depth knowledge of logic circuit, embedded programming and mobile communications.

  My some of strength are that I have the experience of several successful projects that were put on the market. I'm good at programming languages like C, C++, and Assembly. I use useful development and management tools very well such as Source Insight, MS Visual Studio with Platform builder for windows CE 6.0, Real time OS, Linux-2.6.2x, ADS (ARM Developer Suite), SVN, Beyond Compare, MS Project, MS Office and so on. I have nice debugging skills for the real time embedded system. In order to fix some critical bugs in embedded board, I often use JTAG debugger, Oscilloscope, Logic analyzer, USB Protocol Analyzer, and Digital multimeters. I design most of software by using the concepts of the state flow, the event driven, the test driven development for unit test, and the object-oriented programming. I try to develop advanced technologies. I'm also really passionate about my work and a responsible and patient person. I like challenges and enjoy working with others.
 
  My greatest accomplishment is that for about 5 years, the six cellular phones I developed were put on the market in Canada (Telus), Brazil (Vivo), Mexico (Unefon), the US (Verizon), and Korea (LGT). I think that these results contributed to my company.
